Shaping Urban Landscapes and specializing in Green Harbour Regeneration Projects throughout Malta and in the Mediterranean. By embracing historic context and projecting towards the future Jakobsen sees Masterplan Design from the perspective of the pedestrian moving, flowing from space to space:  experiencing urban scenography tying land, City and Sea together. A green sustainable urban environment full of life, history and opportunity. Key underlying driving force to Jakobsen's timeless Design Ethos evolved during his Italian Monopoli Harbour Regeneration Masterplan Thesis project in 2000 and the German Masterplan design and SAVE studies for Brandenburg 1997 at the Town and Building Restoration Department in Aarhus Denmark.

In his Thesis in 2000 JAKOBSEN developed a concept of Integrated Organic Architecture ... joining FORM, FUNCTION & STRUCTURE into ONE solution .. adjusting to context through a language of REPETITION & VARIATION
